First Officer (Second in Command) - Commercial Aviation
The organization is seeking a highly skilled and professional pilot to fulfill the critical role of First Officer (Second in Command). The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the safe and reliable operation of scheduled commercial flights, maintaining exceptional standards of regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. This role is integral to the transport of passengers and commercial freight across designated flight routes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Serves professionally as the Second in Command (SIC) for commercial transport operations, facilitating the safe and timely movement of passengers, mail, freight, and other commercial purposes.
- Ensures meticulous adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), established Company Flight Procedures, and internal Company Policies throughout all scheduled flight operations to maintain the highest standards of air safety.
- Works collaboratively with the Pilot in Command (PIC) to manage all aspects of pre-flight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following essential criteria:
- Must possess a verifiable minimum of 1,500 hours of total documented flight time.
- Requires a minimum of 500 hours of documented fixed-wing turbine time (this may include a combination of airplane and powered lift experience).
- Must hold a current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
