First Officer (Second in Command)
The organization is currently seeking highly motivated and professional aviators to join the flight operations team as a First Officer (Second in Command). This critical role is centered on maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance during all commercial flight operations.
Key Responsibilities and Operational Duties
The First Officer plays an integral role in the flight deck, contributing to the success of all scheduled flights and commercial ventures. Responsibilities include:
- Serving actively as the Second in Command (SIC) for the reliable and safe transport of passengers, mail, freight, and other commercial cargo across established routes.
- Ensuring absolute compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Company Flight Procedures, and internal corporate policies on every scheduled flight to guarantee the optimal safety of flight.
- Collaborating closely with the Captain and ground crew to execute all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight operational checks efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Hour Requirements
Candidates must meet the following rigorous requirements to be considered for the First Officer position:
- Must possess a current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Requires a minimum of 1,500 hours of total documented flight time.
- Must possess a minimum of 500 hours of documented fixed-wing turbine time (inclusive of both airplane and powered lift configurations).
