Job Description

Clay Lacy Aviation invites highly qualified aviation professionals to apply for the prestigious position of First Officer aboard a brand-new, large-cabin Gulfstream G700. This full-time role operates under demanding Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, based permanently at Oxford, CT (KOXC).

The successful First Officer will be an integral part of an elite flight crew, expected to conduct approximately 400 hours of flight time annually, involving extensive domestic and international travel.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Compensation ranges from $250,000 to $260,000 annually.
  • Healthcare: Fully paid medical and healthcare premiums.
  • Employment Status: Full-time only; contract positions are not offered.

Operational Requirements

Candidates must be willing to fulfill the demanding requirements of a “Road Warrior” schedule. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Gulfstream G700 type rating; however, individuals demonstrating strong qualifications and significant large cabin aircraft experience are also encouraged to apply.

Due to the non-commutable nature of this position, applicants must either reside within a two-hour drivable distance of Oxford, CT, or be willing to relocate independently to satisfy this strict requirement.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Gulfstream G700 First Officer position, candidates must meet or exceed the following criteria:

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours total time.
  • Turbine Time: 1,000 hours of Turbine Time is strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is preferred.
  • Type Rating: Current type rating in the Gulfstream G700 or relevant large cabin aircraft is preferred.
  • Residency: Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Oxford, CT. Individuals residing outside the area willing to relocate independently will be considered. This position is explicitly non-commutable.
  • Travel: Must possess unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Compliance: The candidate must fully comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), the Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal company policies.
  • Screening: Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT)/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) drug screening, comprehensive background checks, and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.

Note: Positions within this classification are designated as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
