Corporate Flight Attendant
Scotts Miracle-Gro seeks a dedicated and professional Corporate Flight Attendant to join its Corporate Flight Team based in Columbus, OH. The Corporate Flight Attendant provides exceptional five-star service and ensures the safety and welfare of passengers aboard mid-size corporate aircraft. The role involves travel to various domestic and international destinations, representing the company with the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the welfare and safety of passengers while onboard the aircraft.
- Greets all passengers and verifies the accuracy of the passenger manifest.
- Conducts thorough advance planning and preparation for upcoming trips.
- Manages the purchase and stocking of cabin supplies and catering from various vendors.
- Maintains the cleanliness and presentation of all cabin linens and serving ware through proper cleaning and laundering procedures.
- Coordinates effectively with other crew members and scheduling personnel to review trip details.
- Conducts comprehensive emergency and service briefs prior to each flight segment.
- Ensures the cabin is properly secured prior to taxi.
- Performs meticulous pre-flight and post-flight checks of cabin and galley equipment.
- Upholds company standards for safety, security, and quality in all aspects of the role.
- Operates and performs basic troubleshooting for on-board entertainment systems and equipment.
- Completes assigned administrative tasks, such as expense reporting, in a timely and accurate manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive flight crew.
- In-depth knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
- Current First Aid training is required, with the ability to respond effectively to in-flight medical situations.
- Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
- Current certification in the usage of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is required.
- Proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with applicable FAA and customs regulations pertinent to corporate aviation operations.
- Possesses reliable transportation and the ability to purchase aircraft stock prior to trips.
- Flexibility to accommodate a varied and changing work schedule, including occasional weekend and holiday travel.
- Ability to travel as needed for international flights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a FACTS, Flight Safety, or equivalent FAA-certified training program is preferred.
- Strong culinary or fine dining service experience is preferred.
The budgeted starting pay range for this role is generally $77,200.00 - $90,800.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. This role is eligible for participation in corporate bonus programs. For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
