Global 7500 Flight Attendant – Los Angeles Area
Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Flight Attendant to join our team based in Los Angeles. This full-time position demands a dedicated individual possessing exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering superior service within a demanding, fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide meticulous and attentive service to ensure the utmost safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.
- Effectively manage passenger needs and provide immediate assistance during any emergency situations.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, as required. Secure the cabin according to all applicable federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing. Reassure passengers during turbulence or other disruptive events.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings.
- Maintain comprehensive supplies onboard, including food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment, ensuring adequate provision for the flight and all passengers.
- Procure any special items requested by passengers.
- Maintain meticulous cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck. Ensure aircraft readiness for every flight.
- Conduct regular cabin checks to guarantee passenger comfort and sanitation. Complete all necessary pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
- Operate all audio and visual systems proficiently.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations. Current First Aid Training Certification required.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a comparable institution is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates lacking formal training may be considered based on extensive experience and must complete initial flight attendant training before assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training within the last 12 months.
- Advanced technological proficiency.
- Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and the ability to manage a demanding, variable schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice deployment (2-3 hour response time if on standby).
- Proven culinary skills and relevant culinary training.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally (candidates must consider health and visa requirements).
- Capacity for up to 16 consecutive days of deployment.
- Proficient operation of all Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and divan bed configuration.
- Impeccable interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A college degree is preferred. Fluency in one or more foreign languages is highly advantageous.
- Experience with young children is beneficial.
Specific Physical Requirements:
- Vision: Correctable vision to 20/20 or better. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, and utilize electronic devices (computer, smartphone, iPad).
- Hearing/Speech: Must possess clear speech and adequate hearing for effective communication in various contexts, including during flight.
- Mobility: Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 14 hours with limited sitting), walk without assistance, and work long hours in diverse climates. Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Strength/Dexterity: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly, push/pull a door weighing up to 130 pounds, write, type, and perform all necessary tasks for food preparation and service.
Compensation:
Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, depending on experience, location, aircraft type, responsibilities, and training.
