Pilot in Command - Global 7500

Executive Jet Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to operate a Global 7500 aircraft, based at Teterboro, NJ (TEB). This is a five-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under both Part 91 (200 hours) and Part 135 (170 hours) regulations. This role is within the Crewmembers area of interest, and the requisition ID is 14782.

The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The individual will adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all flight operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete comprehensive flight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations for each flight.
  • Lead pre-flight briefings utilizing Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
  • Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with necessary personnel as required.
  • Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight aircraft checks, verifying maintenance status and recording any discrepancies according to company SOPs.
  • Oversee and ensure all aircraft ground servicing is completed, including fueling, oil, and oxygen, per SOPs.
  • Deliver passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and catering to any special passenger needs.
  • Employ Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques to maintain clear and timely communication with crew and support staff during all operational phases, including normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
  • Provide consistently high-quality service to owners and passengers, proactively resolving service deviations and enhancing the EJM experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members and EJM partners to provide a consistent and exceptional service experience.
  • Maintain all required training and currency of experience, adhering to both regulatory and company standards.
  • Comply with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting any safety concerns or non-compliance issues through appropriate channels.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is preferred.
  • Must possess a service-oriented and professional demeanor.
  • Strong preference for a Global 7500 type rating; however, a current Challenger type rating is required.
  • Must be capable of performing all essential functions of the position.
  • Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
    • Total flight time: 3500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $425,000, dependent on cabin size and experience.

  • Small/Mid/Supermid: $160,000 - $325,000
  • Large/Heavy/Premium: $160,000 - $425,000
