Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a seasoned Lead Captain to command its Global 7500 operations. This pivotal role carries the ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional execution of all flight assignments. Beyond piloting duties, the Lead Captain will serve as a leader and mentor, embodying Jet Aviation's core values and fostering a culture of excellence. As Pilot in Command (PIC), the incumbent will ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and quality, while actively developing crew members and representing the company's renowned brand of distinction. What We're Looking For
Jet Aviation seeks accomplished aviation professionals prepared to lead in a demanding environment. Qualified candidates will possess:
- Expert Credentials: A valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of five years in aviation, with 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time. This includes 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a variable schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission profiles.
- Global Readiness: A willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Education: A high school diploma is required.
- License Requirements: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

What You'll Do
- Lead with Confidence: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, conducting thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions to make informed decisions.
- Crew Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide crew members to foster professional growth, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training to maintain seamless operations.
- Deliver Excellence: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions, guaranteeing a seamless travel experience for passengers.
- Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a robust safety culture by adhering to best practices, conducting passenger briefings, and promptly addressing aircraft discrepancies in collaboration with maintenance teams.
- Provide Administrative Excellence: Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring processes, and represent Jet Aviation with professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
- Represent the Brand: Serve as a visible representative of Jet Aviation, embodying professionalism and dedication to the company's mission of delivering exceptional service.
What You'll Experience
- Physical Requirements: The role involves regular standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, may be required. Sharp vision across various ranges and depths is essential.
- Work Environment: Professionals will operate in diverse environments, ranging from heavy maintenance areas to sophisticated customer spaces. This includes experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, often with occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $350,000 to $385,000. This range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation; the final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
