Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global 7500 Captain to join a proficient three-pilot operation based at Santa Barbara Airport (KSBA) in Santa Barbara, California. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional colleague, relentlessly pursuing excellence in every aspect of their performance. This role is crucial to a hardworking team committed to safely and expertly meeting the travel needs of Solairus's discerning clients, while consistently upholding the company's distinctive culture of safety, service, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Global 7500 aircraft.
Conducts flights in a safe and prudent manner, meticulously adhering to established policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Performs comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual and reviews the aircraft's maintenance status.
Conducts thorough checks of weather conditions and facility availability along the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
Maintains the highest standards of safety for all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
Accurately completes all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
At least 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
A minimum of 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
At least 500 hours Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time.
A minimum of 500 hours in Turbojet aircraft.
At least 250 hours instrument time.

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

Current Type Rating on the Global 7500 aircraft, or a comparable type rating.
Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Ability to operate effectively on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
Primary residence within a two-hour drive from Santa Barbara Airport (KSBA) or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range, typically between $50,000 and $500,000 annually, which is determined by geographic area, extensive experience, specific equipment type/aircraft, comprehensive job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
