Global 7500 Pilot in Command Opportunity at Executive Jet Management
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Global 7500 aircraft based at Teterboro Airport (TEB). This position involves operating under both Part 91 (200 hours) and Part 135 (170 hours) regulations within a well-supported flight department, which includes a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant.

Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC will:
- Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel. Act as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Complete all aircraft pre-flight tasks, verifying maintenance status to ensure mission readiness, and record any discrepancies per SOPs.
- Ensure all aircraft ground servicing (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) is monitored and accomplished per SOPs.
- Conduct passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing special needs.
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provide quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and report safety or non-compliance concerns.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- Service-minded and professional demeanor.
- Strong preference for a GL7500 type rating. Must be typed and current in a Challenger aircraft.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $425,000, commensurate with experience and aircraft type.
