Global 7500 Pilot in Command
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a leader in private aviation since 1977, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Global 7500 aircraft based at Teterboro Airport (TEB). This position is part of a 5-pilot team supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant. The flight schedule includes both Part 91 (200 hours) and Part 135 (170 hours) operations.
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The successful candidate will adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service to passengers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Verifies crew and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Completes thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to conduct pre-flight briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with relevant personnel.
- Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all pre-flight aircraft checks, including maintenance status, and documents any discrepancies.
- Monitors and ensures proper completion of all aircraft ground servicing tasks (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen).
- Conducts passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation, providing exceptional customer service and addressing special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to ensure clear and timely communication during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides superior service to owners and passengers, actively identifying and implementing opportunities for service enhancement.
- Collaborates effectively with crew members and internal partners to provide consistent service delivery, resolving any conflicts in a professional manner.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all required regulatory and company training and currency.
- Complies with company Safety Management System (SMS) and reports any safety or non-compliance concerns through designated channels.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- Must possess a service-oriented mindset and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Strongly preferred to have a Global 7500 type rating. Candidates must be typed and current in a Challenger aircraft.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Base Salary Range:
- Small/Mid/Supermid Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 - $325,000
- Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 - $425,000
