Flight Attendant – Professional Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize the safety, security, and comfort of all customers.
  • Operate and demonstrate safety and emergency equipment, respond to onboard emergencies, and administer basic first aid or CPR as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including preparing and serving meals and beverages.
  • Assist customers with unique needs and manage cabin luggage requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, including making safety and operational announcements.
  • Maintain adaptability to navigate changing environments, including scheduling adjustments and operational demands.
  • Work effectively as a self-starter while collaborating with crew members in a 24/7 global operation.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, company, and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and possess a valid passport with at least 30 months of validity remaining.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to successfully complete seven consecutive weeks of paid training in Atlanta, GA.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including reaching 76 inches, fitting in a jump seat, and lifting/pushing items up to 60 pounds.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights.
  • Ability to relocate or commute to an assigned base.
  • Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and a comprehensive background check.
  • Adherence to company appearance requirements and application policies (one application per 6-month period).

Bilingual (LOD) Opportunities

Delta is seeking candidates fluent in English and one of the following languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, or Swedish. Candidates must pass a language assessment and, if hired, commit to the Language of Destination (LOD) program for a minimum of two years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree.
