Solairus Aviation seeks a highly qualified and dedicated Full-Time Challenger 300 Captain to join an established operation based at the KOPF airport in Opa-locka, Florida. Key Responsibilities

The Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft and conducting flights in strict accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft.
  • Performing comprehensive flight planning, including reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and checking weather and airport facilities along the route and at alternates.
  • Confirming all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • Total Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Requirements

  • Possess a type rating on the Challenger 300 or a comparable aircraft type.
  • Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
  • Required to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Salary Range

Solairus Aviation collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are paid $50,000 to $500,000 based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
