Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Challenger 300 Captain to join an operation based at KAPC airport in Napa, California. Essential Responsibilities/Duties

The Challenger 300 Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. Key duties include conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, which encompasses, but is not limited to:

  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting a complete check of weather and facilities along the intended route and at destination/alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flights are conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • Total time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications

  • Must hold a type rating for the Challenger 300 or a comparable aircraft.
  • Requires a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training is required.
  • Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KAPC airport, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Solairus crewmembers are compensated with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation varies based on geographic area, experience level, specific equipment type/aircraft flown, job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
