Position Summary
Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated Second in Command (SIC) candidates for its super-midsize Challenger 300/350 jet aircraft. This full-time role, based in Scottsdale, AZ, supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The SIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of the Scottsdale, AZ base.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
The Second in Command will:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times, ensuring full compliance with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain proactive and consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Ensure the meticulous management and upkeep of all electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Verify the currency and availability of all necessary navigation charts, publications, and company operational manuals.
- Hold and maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications
- Total Time: 1500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- Total Turbine: 100 hours
- Total Instrument: 150 hours
Additional Requirements
- Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in Challenger 300/350 type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- Possession of an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possession of a First Class Medical Certificate (current and maintained).
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof of eligibility required).
- Hold a current and valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability, including to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational demands dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- The role primarily involves working within aircraft and airport terminal environments.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package designed to attract and retain top talent. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $160,000. Actual base salary is determined based on geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
