Job Purpose: Pilot in Command (Challenger 300)
EJM is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Las Vegas, NV (KLAS). This position operates under a 2-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, with an anticipated flight volume of 300 hours per year under EJM’s Part 135 certificate. The PIC holds final responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Operational Safety:
Ensure all flight assignments comply with regulatory requirements; execute flight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations; utilize TPC briefing methodology to mitigate risks; and adhere strictly to SOPs.

Compliance and Security:
Perform all pre-flight duties, including maintenance status checks and discrepancy reporting; oversee ground servicing (fueling, oxygen, oil); and act as the Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator.

Passenger Experience:
Conduct passenger briefings; deliver premium customer service; and accommodate special passenger needs.

Crew Coordination:
Utilize CRM and TEM to communicate effectively during normal and emergency operations; collaborate with internal partners to provide consistent service.

Proficiency:
Maintain all regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and actively participate in the company SMS program.
Candidate Requirements (KSAOs)
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours

Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours

PIC MEL: 500 hours

Instrument: 300 hours

Jet: 500 hours
Qualifications:

Prior experience in Part 135 corporate/business aviation.

FAA Type rating in CL-300 series (strongly preferred).

Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $160,000 – $325,000 (Small/Mid/Supermid cabin class).
