Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to join its flight operation based at KBUR in Burbank, California. Essential Responsibilities:

The Global 6000 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring the aircraft is operated safely and prudently in accordance with established standards and regulations.
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
  • Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).
  • Performing comprehensive checks of weather conditions, facilities, and alternate airports along the planned route.
  • Ensuring all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew throughout the flight.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork following current procedures.

Qualifications:

Prospective candidates should possess significant flight experience, meeting or exceeding the following minimum hour requirements:

  • Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Requirements:

In addition to flight hour qualifications, candidates must meet the following specific criteria:

  • Hold a type rating on the Global 6000 aircraft or a comparable large cabin jet.
  • Possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis as required by operational needs.
  • Commit to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
  • Maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBUR or be willing to relocate to the area.

Salary Information:

Solairus Aviation determines salary ranges based on current market conditions and industry data. Compensation for crew members typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Actual salary is influenced by factors such as geographic location, experience level, specific aircraft type operated, job duties, training qualifications, and the assigned operational account.
