Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain to join an established operation based at KBUR airport in Burbank, CA. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Global 6000 Captain holds paramount responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft. This involves conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to applicable regulations and company policies. Key duties include:

Ensuring the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
Conducting flights in accordance with, but not limited to, the following procedures:
- Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
- Performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Completing a thorough check of weather conditions and available facilities along the intended route and at destination/alternate airports.
- Ensuring all flights comply with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Required Qualifications (Minimum Flight Hours)

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time: 500 hours
Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

In addition to minimum hours, candidates must possess:

A type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.
A current First Class Medical certificate.
The ability to work effectively on an on-call basis.
The capability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
A primary residence located within a two-hour drive from KBUR or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Salary Information

Solairus Aviation gathers salary range information based on current market conditions from multiple industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Specific salary within this range is determined by factors such as geographic area, experience level, type of equipment/aircraft flown, specific job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account.
