Global 6000 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated full-time Global 6000 Captain to join its team at Teterboro Airport (KTEB) in Teterboro, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative professional with a commitment to excellence and a strong focus on safety, service, and integrity. This individual will contribute to a hardworking team that strives to meet the travel needs of our clients expertly and safely. This is a full-time, non-remote position.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Global 6000 Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. Responsibilities include:

Ensuring the aircraft's maintenance status is thoroughly reviewed.
Conducting meticulous pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Performing complete checks of weather conditions and facilities along the flight route and at both primary and alternate airports.
Adhering to all policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
Accurately completing all trip paperwork as per current procedures.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
Turbo Jet time: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft is required.
Must possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
Must complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
Must reside within a 2-hour drive of KTEB or be willing to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, based on geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
