Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated full-time Global 6000 Captain to be based at Teterboro Airport (TEB) in Teterboro, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, a commitment to safety, and a passion for excellence. Essential Responsibilities:

The Global 6000 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. This includes:

  • Ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
  • Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft’s maintenance status prior to each flight.
  • Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing detailed checks of weather conditions, facilities, and alternate airports along the planned route.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Total flight time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC time: 500 hours
  • Turbojet time: 500 hours
  • Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft.
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Successful completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
  • Primary residence within a two-hour driving distance of Teterboro Airport (TEB) or willingness to relocate.

Additional Information:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range between $50,000 and $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, aircraft type, job responsibilities, and training.
