Global 6000 Captain

Location: Teterboro, NJ (TEB)

Position Type: Full-Time

Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and professional Global 6000 Captain to join a four-pilot team operating from Teterboro, NJ (TEB). This position supports an account averaging approximately 500 flight hours annually. Key Responsibilities

The Global 6000 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties encompass:

Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
Performing a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Conducting a complete assessment of weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including alternate airports.
Ensuring all flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
Accurately completing all required trip documentation according to current procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess the following flight experience:

Total time: 3000 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
MEL PIC: 500 hours
Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Requirements

Possession of a type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft is required.
A current First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
The ability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training is required.
Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of TEB or be willing to relocate.
