Summary of Responsibilities:
- The First Officer is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and ensuring the safety of all passengers on board from take-off through landing.
- The role also encompasses any other duties as assigned in accordance with the Company Operations Manual.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Minimum 3000 hours total flying time
- Minimum 1000 hours jet time
- Minimum 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Previous jet experience is required
- Hands-on experience with advanced avionics/glass cockpit/FMS (Flight Management System) is essential
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A university degree or diploma in aviation or a related technical college program would be considered an asset
- Possession of a valid passport and the ability to travel unrestricted and obtain visas worldwide
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Willingness to perform other non-flying duties including, but not limited to: light aircraft grooming away from base, stocking of aircraft commissary, updating Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) and other manuals as required, and completing all company-required online training in a timely manner
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, with occasional trips exceeding 2 weeks away from base

- Effective problem-solving skills in time-sensitive situations
- Demonstrated record of exercising sound judgment
