Role Summary and Responsibilities

The Cabin Crew member’s primary responsibility is ensuring the highest levels of safety and security for all guests travelling on board the Group’s fleet. This demanding yet rewarding position focuses on delivering a top-class customer service experience across a network carrying over 600,000 guests daily on more than 3,600 daily flights.

Candidates must be prepared for the operational realities of the airline industry, which necessitates flexibility in scheduling. The required shift roster involves operating both early and late duties, potentially reporting for duty as early as 5:00 am on the early roster and not returning home until midnight on the afternoon roster.

Training and Professional Advancement

Successful applicants will immediately commence a rigorous and internationally recognised 6-week professional training course. This comprehensive program covers fundamental aviation safety skills and advanced customer service techniques. The training includes regular examinations and culminates in Supernumerary flights, followed by the award of official Cabin Crew Wings.

Essential Applicant Requirements

  • Applicants must hold the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and/or travel freely throughout the Ryanair network.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in speaking and writing English and must successfully pass an English Language Assessment.
  • Height must be between approximately 5’2” (157 cm) and 6’2” (188 cm).
  • Ability to swim 25 meters unaided, demonstrating the capacity to support another person.
  • A highly flexible approach to working an unpredictable shift roster is mandatory.
  • Possession of an outgoing, friendly personality, coupled with the ability to provide excellent customer service and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A genuine passion for travelling and meeting new people.
