Key Responsibilities of the Flight Attendant

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Prospective candidates must satisfy the following minimum criteria, which will be verified during the recruitment process:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Candidates must demonstrate an arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
  • A minimum educational qualification of a High School degree, GCSE result, or equivalent is required.
  • Complete fluency, both written and spoken, in the English language is essential.
  • Possession of a valid passport with a minimum remaining validity of six months is mandatory.
  • Candidates must possess proficient swimming ability.
  • Applicants must hold the legal right to live and work in the UK (evidenced by a British Passport, Visa, Pre-Settlement, or Settlement Status).
  • Candidates must reside or be prepared to relocate within a 90-minute commuting radius of the chosen base, adhering to fluctuating operational schedules.
  • Tattoos and/or piercings must not be visible when the standard airline uniform is worn.
  • Successful applicants must be enthusiastic, personable, and possess a strong aptitude for working with the public.
  • Candidates requiring a Schengen Visa must be prepared to obtain one if applicable to operational requirements.
  • Medical Note: Applicants with vision prescriptions exceeding +4 or below -4 should be aware that they may not pass the mandatory aviation medical examination.

Registration and Pre-Screening
