Recruitment Day Details & Preparation

Candidates are encouraged to register for this event. Due to limited venue capacity, a pre-screening phone call will be conducted to assess suitability and address any queries. Prompt attendance and preparedness are essential, as the recruitment process may extend into the late afternoon.

  • Required Documentation: A valid passport is mandatory. British passport holders require only their passport. Non-British passport holders must also present their Visa, Pre-Settlement, or Settlement Status Share Code.
  • Application Materials: An updated English CV with an ID photo is required.
  • Professional Attire: Smart business attire is expected. This includes professional hair, makeup, and accessories if applicable. Recommended attire includes a suit, pencil skirt, shirt, and blazer. Please avoid jeans, short skirts, or untidy appearances.
  • Flexibility: Candidates are welcome to attend any recruitment event, irrespective of their preferred base location.

Responsibilities of a Wizz Air Flight Attendant

Flight attendants play a crucial role in ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing passenger safety and delivering exceptional customer care.
  • Performing all onboard and ground duties in strict accordance with company policies.
  • Managing in-flight sales and handling cash transactions.
  • Providing a warm welcome to passengers and offering assistance throughout the flight.

Essential Requirements for Cabin Crew Applicants

Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • An arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
  • A minimum of a high school degree, GCSE result, or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • A valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining and no limitations.
  • Proficiency in swimming.
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK (British passport or valid Visa/Pre-Settlement/Settlement Status).
  • Residency within a 90-minute commute of the assigned base or willingness to relocate, ensuring timely arrival for duty schedules.
  • No visible tattoos or piercings when wearing the uniform.
  • An enthusiastic personality with a genuine enjoyment for working with people.
  • Successful candidates may be required to obtain a Schengen Visa, if applicable.
  • Applicants wearing glasses or contact lenses with a prescription exceeding +4 or below -4 may not pass the mandatory medical examination.
