Key Responsibilities & What to Expect

The role of Cabin Crew is dynamic and demanding, with safety being the number one priority. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service for guests. This position requires adaptability to a shift roster, including early starts (as early as 5 AM) and late finishes (potentially past midnight).

Training and Development

The journey to becoming a qualified Cabin Crew member begins with an intensive 6-week training course. This comprehensive program equips individuals with all fundamental skills necessary for their day-to-day responsibilities, focusing on delivering a premium safety and customer service experience. The course involves regular study and examinations, culminating in Supernumerary flights and the awarding of Cabin Crew Wings.

From day one, new cabin crew members are immersed in the Ryanair Group's vibrant culture, with extensive career opportunities. These pathways include progression to Number 1 Cabin Crew, Base Supervisor, Regional Manager, and even aspiring to the role of Director of Inflight.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for a Cabin Crew position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and be able to travel freely throughout the Ryanair Network.
  • Possess a height between approximately 157 cm (5'2") and 188 cm (6'2").
  • Be able to swim 25 meters unaided.
  • Demonstrate hard work, flexibility, and an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Exhibit adaptability and a willingness to work a varied shift roster.
  • Show a genuine enjoyment of interacting with the public and the ability to consistently provide excellent customer service with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Be comfortable speaking and writing in English with ease.
  • Possess a strong passion for travel and meeting diverse individuals.
