Flight Attendant
PSA Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Flight Attendant to join its growing team. This is a full-time position offering unparalleled opportunities for professional development within a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines. The Flight Attendant will be based in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC; Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Vandalia, OH; or Philadelphia, PA.
The Flight Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations, while providing exceptional customer service in accordance with company objectives and standards. He/She will contribute directly to customer satisfaction, upholding the values of teamwork, diversity, and inclusivity that define The PSA Way.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations from planning through termination.
- Comply with all applicable FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, and company procedures and policies.
- Perform all duties assigned by the company or Captain correctly and promptly.
- Conduct preflight inspections of all cabin emergency equipment as outlined in the Inflight Manual.
- Report any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain immediately.
- Communicate clearly and directly with the Captain regarding any safety concerns for passengers.
- Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism.
- Perform duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times while on duty.
- Complete required records and reports accurately.
- Maintain responsibility for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- College education or two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Must be able to relocate or commute to assigned domicile.
- Must meet the height requirement of a maximum of 6.0 ft and a minimum of 5 ft. 2 in. with shoes.
- Must possess a valid U.S. or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
