Responsibilities

The Chief Flight Attendant is responsible for overseeing cabin crew operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Operational Management: Manages cabin crew schedules, allocates resources, and ensures compliance with airline policies and procedures.
Resource Management: Collaborates with the network planning department to effectively allocate resources for flights.
Performance Management: Evaluates and provides feedback on cabin crew performance, conducts performance appraisals, and identifies training needs to foster development.
Hiring and Interviewing: Leads hiring interviews and makes staffing decisions for cabin crew positions.
Training and Development: Mentors new cabin crew members and provides ongoing training to the team.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; OR a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience is required.
Possession of an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, which necessitates U.S. citizenship.
Demonstrated customer service experience is essential.
Proven experience in a leadership role with a Part 121 air carrier.
Demonstrated knowledge of FAA aviation safety regulations and procedures.

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must reside in the Las Vegas area.
Ability to pass a medical exam and obtain a fit to fly certification.
Must be between 5 ft and 6 ft 1 in height.
Must be in possession of a valid US Passport.
Required to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) as per 49 CFR 1542.209 and a pre-employment drug screen.

Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and in stressful situations.
