Responsibilities:

The Flight Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations, contributing to the company's business growth. This position entails providing exceptional customer service, adhering to company objectives and standards, and fostering overall customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from planning to termination.
  • Complying with all applicable FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, and company procedures and policies.
  • Completing all duties assigned by the company or Captain accurately and on time.
  • Conducting a preflight inspection of all cabin emergency equipment as specified in the Inflight Manual.
  • Promptly reporting any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain.
  • Communicating directly and clearly with the Captain regarding any safety concerns for passengers.
  • Maintaining a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism.
  • Performing duties professionally, efficiently, and courteously at all times.
  • Completing required records and reports.
  • Being responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated outputs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the department and company's operations.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • College education or two years of customer service experience.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • A minimum age of 20 years.
  • The ability to relocate or commute to the assigned domicile.
  • A maximum height of 6 feet and a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, with shoes.
  • A valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Additional Information:

  • Delegation: In the absence of the Flight Attendant, responsibilities are delegated to the Manager of Inflight Operations.
  • Authorities: This position has no authority role.
  • Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.
  • Work Environment: This role operates primarily within an aircraft, with occasional use of standard office equipment.
  • Physical Demands: This role involves regular talking and hearing. While primarily sedentary, it requires frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs, using hands, and reaching.
  • Security Clearance: All employees are required to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a pre-employment drug screen.
