Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Complying with all applicable FARs, TSA, DOT regulations, company procedures, and policies.
- Performing all duties assigned by the company or Captain in a timely and correct manner.
- Conducting preflight inspections of cabin emergency equipment.
- Promptly reporting any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain.
- Advocating clearly to the Captain any safety concerns.
- Maintaining a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism.
- Performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times.
- Completing required records and reports.
- Responsibility for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS).
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College education or two years of customer service experience.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Ability to relocate or commute to assigned domicile.
- Maximum height of 6.0 ft and minimum height of 5 ft. 2 in. with shoes.
- Must possess a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
Additional Information:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. The work environment is primarily in an aircraft. The role requires the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. All employees are required to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a pre-employment drug screen.
