Gulfstream G650 Flight Attendant

Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Flight Attendant to be based in Teterboro, NJ (KTEB). This role requires an individual with a proven ability to deliver exceptional service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers aboard a Gulfstream G650 aircraft. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player, capable of adapting to varying schedules and taking on additional responsibilities as needed. A passion for food and culinary expertise are essential, with advanced culinary training strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a superior level of service to all passengers, prioritizing safety and comfort throughout each flight.
  • Effectively manage passenger safety during emergency situations, providing clear guidance and assistance.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED usage, and provide reassurance to passengers during turbulence or other unsettling events.
  • Prepare and conduct preflight briefings to ensure passenger awareness and preparedness.
  • Maintain adequate onboard supplies, including food, beverages, safety equipment, and requested items, ensuring the aircraft is fully equipped for each flight.
  • Procure items specifically requested by passengers, demonstrating a commitment to personalized service.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, cleaning, and restocking of the cabin, galley, and lavatories after each flight leg, maintaining a pristine environment.
  • Complete all necessary preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Operate audio and video systems, and other cabin management features.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Current First Aid Training Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Formal flight attendant training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar recognized institution is preferred, with annual recurrent training required. Candidates without formal training may be considered, but must complete initial training prior to any flight assignments.
  • Proven technological proficiency and ability to operate cabin management systems.
  • Exceptional flexibility, patience, and adaptability to changing schedules and late-night flights.
  • Strong culinary skills and culinary-specific training are required.
  • Availability to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response for standby situations).
  • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
  • Capacity to be deployed for up to 16 consecutive days.
  • Proficiency in operating all galley equipment and cabin features, including berthing seats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages preferred.
  • Experience with small children preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision correctable to 20/20 or better.
  • Clear and effective speaking abilities, along with adequate hearing for communication in various environments.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 14 hours) and to move within the aircraft without assistance.
  • Capability to kneel, stoop, climb, and bend in tight spaces.
  • Strength and ability to lift supplies (25-30 lbs), and to maneuver the main cabin door (up to 130 lbs).

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, equipment type, and specific job responsibilities.
