The Opportunity: Boeing 737 First Officer
Norwegian is expanding its flight operations and is seeking dedicated and skilled Boeing 737 First Officers to join its team at Nordic bases, specifically Oslo, Bergen, and Helsinki. This is a permanent contract opportunity for pilots passionate about delivering exceptional service and contributing to an airline committed to flying 'above and beyond'.
As a First Officer, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 737 aircraft, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company procedures. This role involves active participation in flight planning, pre-flight checks, in-flight duties, and post-flight procedures, working collaboratively with the Captain and cabin crew to deliver a seamless and positive passenger experience.
Candidate Requirements
Prospective candidates for the Type Rated First Officer position must meet the following essential qualifications:
- EASA ATPL or CPL License complemented by ATPL theory.
- Valid EASA Medical Class 1.
- A minimum of 500 hours on the Boeing 737 type, with the rating currently on or previously held on an EASA license.
- Current Multi-Engine IR, or one that has not expired more than 12 months ago.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5 or higher.
- Ability to pass a 5-year security background check and possess no criminal record.
- Legal right to live and work within the EU/EEC region.
- Possession of an unrestricted passport.
State of Licence Issue (SOLI) Requirement
In adherence to company policy, applicants are required to hold, or be in the process of transferring, their State of Licence Issue (SOLI) to Norway, Sweden, or Denmark. This transfer process should be initiated prior to the signing of an employment contract, if not already completed. This requirement supports operational efficiency and cost management.
