Role Overview

Norwegian is seeking qualified First Officers to operate the B737 aircraft. Successful candidates will support operations across various European bases, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, and Spain.

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid Boeing 737 Type Rating.
  • EASA ATPL or CPL License with ATPL theory.
  • Valid EASA Medical Class 1 certificate.
  • Minimum of 500 hours on the Boeing 737 (rating must be or have been on an EASA license).
  • Valid Multi-engine IR at the time of application (expired ratings may be accepted if expired for no more than 12 months).
  • ELP level 5 or higher.
  • Ability to pass a 5-year security check and maintain a clean criminal record.
  • Legal right to live and work in the EU/EEC region.
  • Unrestricted passport.
  • Minimum height of 157 cm (approximately 5ft 2in) for safe cockpit operation.
  • Licenses preferably issued by Denmark, Sweden, or Norway; non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted provided they are converted to Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian authorities within 12 months of contract signing.

Recruitment Process

The selection process includes an application review, followed by an Assessment Day for successful candidates. The Assessment Day comprises a company presentation, group exercise, 2:1 interview, and a simulator session covering both Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring duties. Candidates who successfully complete the assessment may be placed in a pilot holding pool for future opportunities, subject to operational needs and training capacity.

All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of mandatory background checks, including security interviews, license verification, employment history validation, and drug and alcohol testing. Employment terms are determined by applicable collective agreements and are not subject to individual negotiation.
