The Role: Boeing 737 First Officer
Norwegian is actively seeking experienced and passionate Boeing 737 First Officers to join its flight operations team on a permanent contract. These pivotal roles are based at the airline's key Spanish locations.

Candidate Requirements
Successful candidates will be highly skilled and motivated aviators who meet the following essential criteria:
- Type-rated as a Boeing 737 First Officer.
- Possession of an EASA ATPL or CPL License with ATPL theory credit.
- Valid EASA Medical Class 1 certificate.
- Minimum of 500 hours on the Boeing 737 aircraft type (rating must be or have been on an EASA license).
- Current or recently expired Multi-Engine IR (preferably expired a maximum of 12 months prior to application).
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
- Ability to pass a 5-year security background check and possess no criminal record.
- Legal right to live and work unrestricted within the EU/EEC region.
- Valid, unrestricted Passport.
State of Licence Issue (SOLI) Requirement:
In accordance with company policy, applicants must hold or be actively in the process of transferring their State of Licence Issue (SOLI) to Norway, Sweden, or Denmark. This requirement supports operational efficiency and cost reduction. Prospective candidates are kindly requested to initiate this transfer process before signing an employment contract, if they do not already possess a Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish license. Norwegian appreciates understanding and cooperation with this essential requirement during the application process.

Application & Assessment Process
Norwegian is committed to a thorough and fair selection process:
- Application Submission: Candidates submit their application online, receiving a confirmation email upon successful submission.
- Application Review: The recruitment team meticulously reviews applications, assessing skills, knowledge, and motivation to ensure candidates meet all specified requirements.
- Assessment Day Invitation: Qualified candidates will receive an invitation to an Assessment Day held in Barcelona at BAA Training.
- Assessment Day Agenda: The Assessment Day is an opportunity for candidates to engage with the Norwegian team. It includes a company presentation, a group exercise, a 2:1 interview, and a comprehensive simulator session where candidates will perform as both Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM).
- Outcome Notification: Candidates will be notified of their assessment outcome shortly after the Assessment Day. Unsuccessful candidates are encouraged to reapply after 12 months. Successful candidates will be placed into a holding pool and may receive a job offer based on Norwegian's operational demand.
