First Officer - Riga Base
Norwegian is seeking dedicated and professional First Officers to join the team at its Riga base in 2026. SOLI Requirement
In alignment with company policy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs, candidates are required to hold or be in the process of transferring their State of Licence Issue (SOLI) to Norway, Sweden, or Denmark. Prospective candidates are kindly asked to initiate this transfer process prior to the signing of an employment contract if they do not already possess a Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish license.
Requirements
Type Rated First Officers
- EASA ATPL or CPL License with ATPL theory credit
- EASA Medical Class 1
- Minimum 500 hours on Boeing 737 (Rating must be or have been on an EASA license)
- Multi-Engine IR (preferably expired maximum 12 months ago)
- ELP level 5 or higher
- Ability to pass a 5-year security check
- Possess the legal right to live and work in the EU/EEC region
- Hold an unrestricted Passport
Non-Type Rated First Officers
- EASA ATPL or CPL License with ATPL theory credit
- EASA Medical Class 1
- AUPRT & MCC (unless holding or having held a multi-pilot Type rating under EASA)
- Multi-Engine IR (preferably expired maximum 12 months ago)
- Minimum 1500 hours total time (Military 800 hours total)
- Minimum 500 hours on multi-crew Multi-Engine aircraft
- ELP level 5 or higher
- Ability to pass a 5-year security check
- Possess the legal right to live and work in the EU/EEC region
- Hold an unrestricted Passport
General Requirements for all Candidates
- Hold a clean criminal record
- No history of accidents or incidents
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment
