Purpose of Position
The Flight Attendant is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each and every flight. This role serves as the face of the NetJets Large Cabin experience, providing not only safe transportation but also delivering an exceptional inflight service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. The Flight Attendant is expected to effectively manage multiple roles, providing a concierge service level experience, including tasks ranging from inflight chef and inflight service provider to safety professional. A consistently professional demeanor is required at all times.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Flight Attendant is responsible for the safety of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, ensuring compliance with the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures. Duties include performing interior preflight checks, greeting Owners and passengers, briefing them on specific aircraft features, providing safety briefings, and acting as a subject matter expert on all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features.
Key responsibilities include:
- Obtaining catering from outside sources when necessary.
- Delivering in-flight service, including handling alcohol, serving catering, preparing beds, and following detailed owner notes and profiles.
- Ensuring cabin baggage is properly stowed.
- Being able to conduct flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.
- Working effectively in a team/crew environment and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Acting as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe landing and departure from the final FBO.
- Properly communicating any cabin maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Pilot in Command.
- Accurately completing paperwork associated with inventory management, passdowns, and any required crew reports.
- Performing other duties as assigned depending on the specific assignment.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary skills.
- Related work experience in customer service, culinary, service industry, aviation, or similar fields.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in personal computing, including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
- Body size must not exceed specific aircraft dimensions required for duties (example: jump seat, harness without modification, cabin aisle, and emergency exit).
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be extremely flexible and able to adjust to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty during assigned tour.
- Duty periods may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days and may span different time zones and extreme weather conditions during a trip.
- Ability to be away from home for seven or more days and nights while on duty, staying in hotels.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Possession of a valid State driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression, including a strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
- Ability to maintain Flight Attendant Certification and meet FAA requirements post-hire.
- Must meet and successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
