Key Responsibilities and Compensation

As an A330/A350 Captain with Fiji Airways, the successful candidate will operate on a fleet that includes A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft. Compensation and benefits are structured to reward experience and dedication:

Aircraft Type: A350/A330/B737NG
Monthly Payment (Year 1): NZD 17,428 for 70 hours.
Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240 per month.
Operating Base: Nadi, Fiji.
Excess Flying Pay: Flights exceeding 70 hours per month are compensated at 125% of the hourly rate.
Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour.
Annual Leave: 24 days.
Days Off per Month: 10 days.

Essential Requirements for Captains

To be considered for this role, prospective Captains must meet the following stringent criteria:

Possess a valid A330 or A350 type rating.
Meet minimum command (PIC) experience requirements:
- A minimum of 1,000 hours as Captain on the A330/A350, OR
- A minimum of 3,000 hours as Captain on the A320/A340, with the applicant obtaining their own A330/A350 rating or completing CCQ training.
A minimum of 2,000 hours as Captain on turbine aircraft.
A minimum of 5,000 hours total jet time.
Recent flight experience on type within the last 12 months (may be waived).
More than two years of operational experience as crew on type.
Maximum age of 60 years.
Hold a valid ICAO ATPL.
Possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Achieve an ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
