Captain Position: B737NG/MAX (Fiji Airways)

Longreach Aviation Resources invites experienced pilots to apply for B737NG and B737MAX Captain positions with Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji. This opportunity offers a three-year renewable contract, providing an excellent environment for pilots based in Australia and New Zealand.

Role Overview

Fiji Airways operates a diverse fleet, including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft across a network spanning the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Successful candidates will be provided with commuting tickets between their contract base and Nadi for the commencement of duty.

Compensation and Benefits

The position includes a comprehensive compensation package:

• Monthly Service Fee: NZD 17,428 (for 70 block hours).
• Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240 per month.
• Excess Flying Pay: 125% of the hourly rate for time exceeding 70 hours per month.
• Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour.
• Scheduling: 10 days off per month.
• Leave: 24 days annual leave and 12 days sick leave per year.
• Insurance: Emergency medical insurance provided.
• Travel: Discounted travel benefits for the pilot and family members on Fiji Airways.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Valid B737NG or B737MAX type rating.
• Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on type.
• Minimum 5,000 hours total flying time.
• Recent flight experience: must have flown the type within the last 6 months.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating as crew on type.
• Maximum age of 60.
• Valid ICAO ATPL.
• Valid First Class Medical certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
