B737NG/MAX First Officer – Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking qualified, type-rated B737NG and MAX First Officers to join their flight operations team. The airline operates a diverse fleet, including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, serving destinations throughout New Zealand, the Pacific, Australia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
Position Overview
These positions offer a three-year renewable contract. To support international pilots, particularly those based in Australia and New Zealand, Fiji Airways provides commuting tickets between the crew member’s contract base and Nadi for duty commencement.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 1,500 hours total flying time.

Minimum of 250 hours on B737NG/MAX aircraft.

Current and valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License), operated without restriction for the previous two years.

Valid B737NG/MAX type rating.

Current First Class Medical Certificate issued by an ICAO member state.

Current Unrestricted Instrument Rating.

ICAO Level 5 English language proficiency certification.

Current passport.

Clean criminal record.

No record of flight accidents or incidents.
Compensation and Benefits
First Officers receive a base monthly payment of NZD 10,208 (based on 70 block hours) and a monthly accommodation allowance of NZD 2,240.

Excess Flying Pay:
Hours exceeding 70 per month are compensated at 125% of the hourly rate.

Flight Duty Pay:
NZD 10 per block hour.

Leave:
24 days of annual leave and 12 days of sick leave per annum.

Scheduling:
A block of 10 days off provided each month.
