B737NG & MAX Captain – Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated B737NG and MAX Captains to join its flight operations team. The airline operates a diverse fleet, including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, connecting Fiji to major destinations across the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
Position Overview
This is a three-year renewable contract opportunity. Fiji Airways offers a commuting-friendly environment for pilots based in Australia and New Zealand, providing travel benefits for the contract period.
Candidate Requirements

Valid B737NG type rating.

Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on B737NG.

Minimum 2,000 hours jet time.

Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time.

Must have flown the type within the last 12 months.

Maximum age of 60 years.

Valid ICAO ATPL.

Valid First Class Medical certificate.

ICAO English Level 5 proficiency or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
The position is based in Nadi, Fiji. Financial compensation and benefits include:

Monthly Salary: NZD 17,428 (based on 70 block hours).

Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240 monthly.

Excess Flying Pay: 125% of the hourly rate for time exceeding 70 block hours per month.

Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour.

Annual Leave: 24 days.

Schedule: A fixed block of 10 days off per month.
