B737NG & MAX Captain Opportunity at Fiji Airways

Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated B737NG and MAX Captains for three-year renewable contract positions. The airline operates a diverse fleet including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, connecting Fiji to major destinations across New Zealand, the Pacific, Australia, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.

This role offers a competitive compensation package designed to support international crew members, including commuting tickets between the contract base and Nadi.

• Monthly Salary (Year 1): NZD 17,428 (for 70 block hours).
• Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240 per month.
• Excess Flying Pay: 125% of the hourly rate for block hours exceeding 70 per month.
• Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour.
• Leave: 24 days annual leave and 10 days off per month.

Candidate Requirements

Interested candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• Valid ICAO ATPL and a valid First Class Medical.
• Valid B737NG type rating.
• Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 2,000 hours jet time.
• Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on B737NG.
• Type experience within the last 12 months.
• ICAO English Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
• Maximum age of 60 years.
