B737NG & MAX Captain Position at Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced and qualified B737NG & MAX Captains to join their flight operations team. The airline operates a diverse fleet including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, serving destinations across New Zealand, the Pacific, Australia, Hong Kong, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.
Role Overview
This position offers a three-year renewable contract. Fiji Airways provides commuting tickets between the pilot’s contract base and Nadi for the commencement of duties, making this an attractive opportunity for pilots based in the Australia and New Zealand regions.
Candidate Requirements

Valid B737NG type rating.

Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on B737NG.

Minimum of 2,000 hours total jet time.

Minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time.

Must have flown the type within the last 12 months.

Maximum age of 60 years.

Valid ICAO ATPL.

Valid First Class Medical certificate.

ICAO English proficiency level 5 or above.
Compensation and Benefits
The position includes a monthly payment of NZD 17,428 (based on 70 hours) and a monthly accommodation allowance of NZD 2,240. Additional financial incentives include:

Excess Flying Pay: 125% of the hourly rate for block hours exceeding 70 per month.
