B737NG & MAX Captain Position at Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated B737NG and MAX Captains to join its flight operations team. The airline operates a diverse fleet including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, servicing destinations across New Zealand, the Pacific, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Candidate Requirements

Valid B737NG type rating.

Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the B737NG.

Minimum of 2,000 hours of jet time.

Minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time.

Must have flown the type within the last 12 months.

Maximum age of 60.

Valid ICAO ATPL.

Valid First Class Medical.

ICAO English Level 5 or above.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a three-year renewable contract offering a competitive package for pilots in the Australian and New Zealand regions, including commuting tickets between the contract base and Nadi.
Financial Package (Captains):

Monthly Payment (Year 1): NZD 17,428 (based on 70 hours).

Monthly Accommodation Allowance: NZD 2,240.

Excess Flying Pay: Greater than 70 hours per month compensated at 125% of the hourly rate.

Flight Duty Pay: NZD 10 per block hour.
