About the Role
Fiji Airways is inviting applications for experienced and type-rated Boeing 737NG (B737NG) and Boeing 737 MAX (B737 MAX) Captains to join their dynamic team based in Nadi, Fiji. Operating a modern fleet including B737NG/MAX, Airbus A330, and A350 aircraft, Fiji Airways offers challenging and rewarding three-year renewable contract opportunities.
This attractive role is based in Nadi, Fiji, and extends to destinations across New Zealand, the Pacific area, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and Australia. Commuting tickets are provided between the crew member’s contract base and Nadi for duty commencement, particularly beneficial for pilots based in Australia and New Zealand.
Pilot Requirements (B737NG Captain)
Candidates applying for the B737NG Captain position must meet the following criteria:

Hold a valid B737NG Type Rating.

Possess a minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on B737NG aircraft.

Accumulate a minimum of 2,000 hours of jet time.

Command a minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time.

Current on type, demonstrating flight experience on the B737NG within the last 12 months.

Maximum age of 60 years at the time of application.

Hold a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Possess a valid ICAO First Class Medical Certificate.

Achieve ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
Compensation & Benefits
Fiji Airways offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for both Captains and First Officers:

Monthly Payment (for 70 hours block time)

Captains: NZD 17,428

First Officers: NZD 10,208

Accommodation Allowance
: NZD 2,240 per month.

Excess Flying Pay
: Payable for block hours exceeding 70 per month, remunerated at 125% of the hourly rate.

Flight Duty Pay
: NZD 10 per block hour.

Annual Leave
: 24 days per year.

Days Off
: A guaranteed block of 10 days off provided each month.

Sick Leave
: 12 days per year.
