About the Role
Air Japan is seeking experienced Captains to operate its fleet of B787 aircraft. This long-term career opportunity is based in Narita, Japan, with routes across Asia and to Honolulu. The role offers a 5-year contract with potential for extension, a full type rating course for the B787 provided at no cost, leading to a JCAB license, and an attractive commuting package.
Requirements
Candidates applying for Captain positions (non-JCAB Licence holders) must meet the following criteria:

6,000 hours Total Flight Experience.

4,500 hours Commercial Jet PIC.

Multi-engine Jet experience in excess of 65,000kg MTOW.

Valid ICAO ATPL with Command Jet Type Rating (aircraft types B737/A320 equivalent or larger commercial jet).

Must have flown within the last 12 months.

Under 55 years of age at the time of commencement.

Valid ICAO Medical Certificate.

ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
Qualifications for JCAB Licence Holders
Captain candidates holding a JCAB Licence must possess:

A valid JCAB Licence.

6,000 hours Total Flight Experience.

3,000 hours Commercial Jet PIC.

A minimum of 500 hours Jet PIC with a Japanese Airline.

Valid JCAB ATPL with Command Jet Type Rating.

Multi-engine Jet experience in excess of 50,000kg MTOW.

Valid ICAO Medical Certificate.

ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
