A330 & A350 Captain Vacancies – Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated A330 and A350 Captains for 3-year renewable contracts. As the national carrier, Fiji Airways provides extensive connectivity across the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.
Candidate Requirements

Valid ICAO ATPL and First Class Medical certificate.

Valid A330 or A350 type rating.

Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on A330/A350 OR minimum 3,000 hours PIC on A320/A340 (with the requirement to obtain an A330/A350 rating or CCQ).

Minimum 2,000 hours PIC on turbine aircraft.

Minimum 5,000 hours total jet time.

Must have operated as crew on type for more than 2 years.

Recent experience on type (flown within the last 12 months preferred; may be subject to waiver).

Maximum age of 60 years.

ICAO English Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive package designed for international commuters, including provided travel between the crew member’s contract base and Nadi.

Monthly Payment (Year 1):
NZD 17,428 (based on 70 hours).

Accommodation Allowance:
NZD 2,240 monthly.

Excess Flying Pay:
125% of the hourly rate for time exceeding 70 block hours per month.

Flight Duty Pay:
NZD 10 per block hour.

Scheduling:
10 days off per month.

Leave:
24 days annual leave and 12 days sick leave per annum.
