A330/A350 Captain Recruitment - Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, based in Nadi, Fiji, is currently seeking experienced, type-rated A330 and A350 Captains to join their flight operations team. The airline maintains a diverse network, including routes across the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
Candidate Requirements

Valid ICAO ATPL and a valid First Class Medical.

Valid A330 or A350 type rating.

Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on turbine aircraft.

Minimum of 5,000 hours total jet time.

Specific PIC requirements:

Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on A330/A350; OR
-
Minimum 3,000 hours PIC on A320/A340, provided the applicant obtains their own A330/A350 rating or CCQ.

Must have operated as crew on type for more than 2 years.

Demonstrated experience on type within the last 12 months (may be waived).

Maximum age of 60 years.

ICAO English Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
Successful candidates will be offered a three-year renewable contract featuring the following benefits:

Monthly Base Salary:
NZD 17,428 (for 70 block hours).

Accommodation Allowance:
NZD 2,240 per month.

Performance Incentives:
Overtime pay at 125% of the hourly rate for flying exceeding 70 hours per month; Flight Duty Pay of NZD 10 per block hour.

Work-Life Balance:
10 days off per month and 24 days of annual leave.

Leave:
12 days sick leave per annum.

Travel:
Commuting tickets provided between the crew member's contract base and Nadi; discount travel benefits for the pilot and family members.

Employment Terms
These positions are based in Nadi, Fiji. The contract duration is three years, with opportunities for renewal. The airline provides significant support for pilots based in the Australia and New Zealand region through established commuting arrangements.
