A330 & A350 Captain Vacancies – Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways, the flag carrier of Fiji based in Nadi, is currently inviting applications for type-rated A330 and A350 Captains. This opportunity offers a three-year renewable contract for experienced pilots, particularly those based within the Australia and New Zealand regions, supported by commuting ticket provisions between the contract base and Nadi.
Position Requirements

Valid ICAO ATPL and a valid First Class Medical certificate.

Minimum 5,000 hours total jet time.

Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on turbine aircraft.

Specific PIC requirements: Either a minimum of 1,000 hours PIC on A330/A350 OR a minimum of 3,000 hours PIC on A320/A340 (with the requirement to obtain an A330/A350 rating or CCQ).

Valid A330 or A350 type rating.

Must have operated as crew on type for more than two years.

Recent experience: Flown on type within the last 12 months (waiver may be considered).

Maximum age of 60.

English proficiency: ICAO Level 5 or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
Fiji Airways provides a comprehensive remuneration package for Captains:

Monthly Salary:
NZD 17,428 (based on 70 hours).

Accommodation Allowance:
NZD 2,240 monthly.

Excess Flying Pay:
125% of the hourly rate for time exceeding 70 block hours per month.

Flight Duty Pay:
NZD 10 per block hour.

Leave Entitlements:
24 days of annual leave and 12 days of sick leave.

Operational Overview
