Banquet Lead

Location: Lincoln Embassy Suites, 1040 P Street, Lincoln, NE 68508

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation Range: $20.00 per hour (determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and location).

Position Overview

The Lincoln Embassy Suites is seeking a professional and motivated Banquet Lead to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will provide operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality guest experiences through precise event execution and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring high standards for linens, silverware, and china.
Coordinate the flow of service to ensure meal delivery is efficient and timely.
Provide guidance and motivation to the banquet team for all event types, ranging from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
Manage and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment setup.
Assist with operational tasks, including staff scheduling, training, and inventory management.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service.
Minimum of 6 months of banquet food service experience.
Demonstrated leadership potential or prior supervisory experience.
Possession of, or willingness to obtain, required food and alcohol certifications within 90 days of employment.
Physical stamina sufficient to perform tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for the duration of a shift.
