Training Specialist - ISR USN Platform Systems

Job Summary:
Leidos seeks a highly motivated and self-directed team player with demonstrated expertise as an ISR USN platform system operator instructor to join its Maritime Systems Division. The role requires an exceptional command of technical, tactical, and instructional techniques to effectively train warfighters. This position necessitates an active TS clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct instruction to students in both classroom and simulator training environments, including lectures, computer-based learning, desktop simulation, and crew-based simulation.
- Supervises tests and assessments.
- Collects and reviews student performance and feedback data for reporting and assessment of training effectiveness.
- Reviews and provides feedback to the Prime Contractor on system Interactive Courseware (ICW), Instructor-Led Training (ILT) lessons, scripts for Desktop Training Mode (DTM) events, and scenarios for Tactical Crew Coordination Trainer (TCCT) events for technical accuracy and effective instructional strategy.
- Reviews and provides subject matter expertise to the Government customer, Prime Contractor, and Fleet operators on a highly complex sensor system.
- Maintains familiarity with classified marking and handling requirements as set forth in DoD and DoN policy.
- Ensures 100% accountability of classified training materials and engineering documents.
- Collects and disseminates training system performance and discrepancy reports.
- Provides training device testing and acceptance support.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience, with 5+ years as an Advanced Airborne Sensor Tactical Officer (TO) or Sensor Operator (S), or a master's degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical, verbal, and writing skills.
- Holds a current TS clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Experience as a Naval Flight Officer (NFO) or Aircrewman Operator (AWO) Instructor/Evaluator, preferably with a master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience as a P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor Instructor, Tactical Officer (TO) or Sensor Operator (SO).
- Experience in Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Community operations and training.
- Instructor experience as a Squadron, Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS)/VP-30, and FRS IUT Instructor, teaching complex maritime airborne sensor systems.
- Experience supporting Special Access programs.
- Experience supporting an ACAT I-D program.
- Experience operating in a multi-level protection environment.

Salary Range:
$101,400.00 - $183,300.00
