Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) – Fort Rucker, Alabama

Amentum is seeking a qualified Helicopter Pilot (Instructor) to join the team in Fort Rucker, Alabama. This role involves providing comprehensive flight instruction in the UH-72. Previous military aviation experience or specific UH-72 qualification is not required.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications

Must possess an ICAO equivalent or FAA commercial pilot certificate and an ICAO equivalent or FAA flight instructor certificate with rotorcraft category, helicopter class, and instrument helicopter ratings, or be a graduate of a DOD rotary wing instructor pilot course.
Total Flight Time: 1,500 hours (as pilot-in-command or second-in-command).
100 hours of combined hooded instrument, flight simulator instrument, or weather pilot time.
Documented experience instructing students in instrument flight training.
75 hours of night flying experience.
500 hours of instructor time.
Must maintain a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
Basic Warfighter Skills applicants must be certified Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified with 200 hours of NVG time.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Additional Requirements

Selected applicants are subject to government approval and must adhere to the terms of a 12-month employee agreement.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $55.85 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, and market data.
