Pilot Positions at Kalitta Air
Kalitta Air is seeking highly qualified candidates for pilot positions.
Minimum Requirements
- Total flight time of 2500 hours
- 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command
- 1500 hours in jet aircraft
- Type rating not initially required (training provided)
- Military applicants: >1000 hours total time, turbine and PIC time may be flexible, 500 PIC turbine (jet) flight hours minimum.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4000 hours total flight time
- Previous experience as a Check Airman, Assistant Chief Pilot, Chief Pilot, Fleet Manager, or Director of Operations at a FAR 121/135 carrier
- Prior Boeing aircraft operating experience
Additional Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate issued by the FAA
- Class 1 medical certificate
- FCC Radio License
- No restrictions on international travel
- Current passport
- Ability to pass a 10-year security background check and pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
- Successful completion of Kalitta Air’s Captain upgrade program on either the B747 or B777
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field
