Aviation company located in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to manage and oversee all company pilots, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. This role involves significant responsibility for flight operations, pilot training, and safety management.
About the Role

Manage, direct, and oversee all company pilots to foster a professional, safety-oriented culture.

Ensure all pilots are current, qualified, and operate in accordance with company manuals, OpSpecs, 14 CFRs, FAA Orders, ADs, ACs, and company policies.

Review and manage the company RVSM policy, as well as review and improve company manuals.

Administer ground and classroom training if acting as a Ground Instructor.

Collaborate on the designation of Special Airports and review/monitor navigation database errors.

Ensure pilot appearance, attendance, and personal conduct comply with company policy.

Review pilot medical reports and ensure accurate recording of medical information.

Conduct annual company badge/facility access audits.

Represent the company in flight operations-related activities and approve media statements.

Notify relevant parties immediately if a pilot becomes unqualified.

Serve as a liaison with aircraft manufacturers and advise on de-icing/anti-icing program manual updates.

Ensure pilots have access to necessary electronic flight bags, manuals, software, and licenses.

Act as an Associate Member of the CASS Board.

Delegate functions and duties while retaining ultimate responsibility.

Approve, sign, and request amendments to OpSpecs.

Extend Flight Crewmember Flight Duty Periods when necessary.

Authorize weather minimums for Functional Check Flights.
Requirements

Must hold an airline transport pilot certificate with appropriate ratings for at least one of the airplanes used in the operation.

If becoming a Chief Pilot for the first time, must have served as PIC of a large airplane operated under 14 CFR Part 121 or 14 CFR Part 135.

If possessing previous Chief Pilot experience, must have served as PIC of a large airplane operated under 14 CFR Part 121 or 14 CFR Part 135.

Supplemental Part 121 experience is preferred.

FAA ATP License and FCC Certificate are required.

Must have legal authorization to live and work in the U.S.

Must possess a valid, unrestricted U.S. passport.

Must have no FAA accident history or history of regulatory violations.

Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.

Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand).
Qualifications
-
B777, B767, or B747 experience is preferred.

Strong communication, sharp judgment, and attention to detail are preferred.

A hospitality mindset is preferred.
-
First Class Medical is preferred.
