Gridiron Air, a leading FAR Part 121 Supplemental Air Carrier specializing in customized flight solutions, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated First Officer (FO) to join its global operations. Based at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW) in Fort Worth, TX, USA, this full-time role involves operating the airline's advanced fleet of Boeing 777-200ER aircraft and requires significant travel to meet the demands of its worldwide charter services.
About the Role
The First Officer serves as the Second-in-Command (SIC) of the flight, supporting the Captain and ensuring all flight operations comply with pertinent regulations and directives. Administratively, the First Officer reports to the Chief Pilot (CP) and functionally to the Captain of the flight. This position demands a high degree of flexibility, including availability for evening and weekend operations, to support the airline's 365-day-a-year global charter schedule.
Requirements

Ensure all operations align with Company-approved/accepted manuals, OpSpecs, 14 CFR, FAA Orders, ADs, ACs, Handbook Bulletins, Directives, and manufacturer recommendations.

Comply with all administrative programs, including airport/route qualification, flight time limitations, currency requirements (e.g., physicals, takeoffs and landings, home study courses), pilot flight equipment, uniform discipline, and adherence to manuals, policies, and procedures.

Maintain pilot appearance, attendance, and personal conduct in compliance with Company policy, culture, and core values.

Promptly notify the Chief Pilot (CP) of any discrepancy or incident impacting personal or Company ability to perform within safety, regulatory compliance, and fiscal responsibility parameters.

Act as necessary to resolve problems or situations that may compromise safety or compliance.

Direct Crewmembers in a safe and efficient manner to meet operational requirements when assigned by the Captain.

Perform all other administrative duties as assigned by the CP.

Ability to speak, write, and understand English proficiently.

Adherence to Gridiron Air's Drug and Alcohol policies.

Flexibility to work in various environmental conditions, including an office setting, occasional exposure to outside weather (wet/humid, extreme heat/cold), and loud noise levels when outside the office.
Qualifications

FAA ATP License.

FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Certificate.

Legal authorization to live and work in the U.S.

Valid, unrestricted U.S. passport.

No FAA accident history or history of regulatory violations.

Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug test.

Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Demonstrated strong communication skills, sharp judgment, attention to detail, and a hospitality mindset.

2,000 hours total time (fixed wing) with EFIS/FMS/Glass flight deck experience.

1,000 hours in turbojet aircraft.

1,000 hours in Part 121, Part 91, or Part 135 operations.

Supplemental Part 121 experience (preferred).

B777 or B747 experience (preferred).

Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred).
