About the Role

The First Officer is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of flights, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, company manuals, and operational specifications. This role requires adherence to administrative programs, maintaining pilot currency, and upholding company policies regarding appearance, conduct, and integrity. The First Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining Gridiron Air's reputation for safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• FAA ATP License
• First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Certificate
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. passport
• No FAA accident history or history of regulatory violations
• Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
• Strong communication skills, sharp judgment, attention to detail, and a hospitality mindset
• 2,000 hours total flight time (fixed-wing)
• Experience with EFIS/FMS/Glass flight decks
• 1,000 hours in turbojet aircraft
• 1,000 hours in Part 121, 91, or 135 operations
• Supplemental Part 121 experience preferred
• B777 or B747 experience preferred
• Flexibility to meet business needs, including potential evening and weekend availability.
