Second in Command (SIC) – Citation XLS+ Gen2

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Full-Time)

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations for our midsize jet fleet. The successful candidate will report to the Base Chief Pilot and be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company standards and CFRs.
  • Maintain consistent communication for standby duty, trip notifications, and flight reporting.
  • Manage and update electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware, applications, navigation charts, and company manuals.
  • Uphold the core values of Jet Linx and exhibit proactive decision-making skills.
  • Operate in and around aircraft and terminals, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 100 hours
  • Total Instrument: 150 hours
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • ATP certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Current passport and unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and the Caribbean.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random testing.
  • Ability to clear an FAA Pilot Record Database review.
  • Residency within a 2-hour call-out time of the Minneapolis base.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation package, with a starting base annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000, commensurate with geographic location, aircraft type, and candidate experience. Benefits include:
