Experienced Second in Command (SIC) Pilot - Midsize Jet Operations

Job Overview

The organization is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Second in Command (SIC) candidates to support safe and efficient flight operations aboard midsize jet aircraft. This essential position encompasses responsibilities under both Federal Aviation Regulation Part 91 (General Operations) and Part 135 (On-Demand Air Carrier) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful SIC candidate will operate with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory adherence. Key duties include:

  • Diligent management of duty, flight, and rest periods in strict compliance with both company operational standards and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
  • Maintaining consistent, timely communication with company operational control for matters including standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and the accurate submission of pre-flight and post-flight reports.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications

Specific flight time minimums are required for consideration. Candidates must document the following flight hours:

  • Total Flight Time: 1,500 hours minimum
  • Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours minimum
  • Total Multi-Engine Land Time: 500 hours minimum
  • Total Turbine Time: 100 hours minimum

Operational Requirements

A strict commitment to operational readiness is mandatory for this role. Candidates must either currently reside within, or be willing to relocate to, an area that ensures arrival at the designated home base within a two-hour call-out window.
