A highly qualified and motivated Second in Command (SIC) pilot is sought to join a professional flight department operating midsize jet aircraft under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This role requires exceptional professionalism, adherence to stringent safety standards, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The SIC pilot is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all assigned flight duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Meticulously managing duty, flight, and rest periods in strict adherence to both company operational requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining continuous and proactive communication with the company flight department regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, operational position calls, and the accurate submission of comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Operating the aircraft in accordance with all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the following non-negotiable flight experience requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 100 hours
Operational Requirements
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to operational readiness.
- Location: Candidates must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base.
