Second in Command - Citation XLS+ Gen2
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for its Midsize jet aircraft, supporting Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, within a two-hour call-out time of the base.
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and assists in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Position Summary:
The Second in Command (SIC) is responsible for assisting the Pilot in Command in all aspects of flight operations, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 100 hours
- Instrument Time: 150 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times to comply with company and CFR requirements.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills.

Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Current passport.
- ATP (ability to obtain ATP).
- 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
