VIP Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department in the Los Angeles, California area. Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant delivers exceptional personal service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flight. Primary duties include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with a high standard of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in emergency situations.
- Verifying the operational status of first aid kits and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles.
- Securing the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR, AED, and general first aid.
- Reassuring passengers during instances such as turbulence.
- Assisting passengers entering or exiting the aircraft, identifying and addressing the special assistance needs of children, the elderly, or disabled passengers.
- Conducting preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate onboard supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading materials, and emergency equipment for the trip and number of passengers.
- Facilitating and managing VIP passenger requests for food and beverages.
- Shopping for and stocking specially requested items for passengers.
- Preparing food and beverages for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Maintaining continuous preparedness of the aircraft for flight: cleaned and stocked.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
- Operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
- Operating all galley equipment.
- Operating all cabin features, to include berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited provider is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
