Position Overview: Flight Attendant
Delta Air Lines is seeking professional, service-oriented individuals to join our In-Flight Services team. As a Flight Attendant, you will serve as a representative of Delta’s core values, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our customers across our global network of over 300 destinations. Candidates hired through this requisition are expected to begin mandatory initial training in early 2027.
Key Responsibilities

Prioritize and manage the safety of all customers, including operating emergency equipment, responding to onboard emergencies, and administering basic first aid or CPR.

Deliver exceptional, professional customer service in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Assist customers with unique needs and circumstances, providing clear communication and support.

Maintain compliance with all federal, company, and safety policies, including regular public address and safety announcements.

Perform physical duties, including lifting and stowing luggage, preparing/serving meals and beverages, and operating aircraft doors/emergency exits.

Exhibit reliability by working a 24/7 global schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Adapt quickly to last-minute scheduling changes and operational demands.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).

Valid passport with at least 30 months of remaining validity prior to the training start date.

Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and comprehensive background check.

Physical ability to reach a height of 76 inches, open emergency exits weighing up to 60 pounds, and push/pull beverage carts requiring 32 pounds of force.

Capacity to successfully complete seven consecutive weeks of paid training in Atlanta, GA.

Willingness to relocate to an assigned base and support both international and domestic flight operations.

Adherence to all corporate policies, including appearance standards and application frequency policies (one application per 6-month period).
Bilingual (LOD) Opportunities
Delta is currently accepting applications for English-speaking and Bilingual (Language of Destination/LOD) Flight Attendants. LOD candidates must demonstrate fluency in English and their selected language (Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, or Swedish). A successful language assessment is required for these roles, along with a two-year commitment to the LOD program.
